Job summary

American Residential Services (ARS) is hiring In-Store Sales Representatives / Lead Generators to represent HVAC and plumbing services inside national home improvement retail stores in Bellingham, MA.

We offer part-time and full-time opportunities with hourly pay plus uncapped commission and frequent pay via direct deposit. Training is provided and there are prospects to advance into HVAC Sales Advisor roles. Weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

Outgoing personality and willingness to speak with shoppers.
Retail, kiosk, or sales experience preferred (not required).
Ability to stand and walk during shifts.
Weekend and some holiday availability.
Reliable transportation.
Clean, professional appearance representing the ARS brand.
Ability to attend weekly in-office meetings.
Employment is contingent on a background check per applicable law.

Responsibilities

Engage with customers in a retail store environment.
Approach shoppers and start friendly, professional conversations.
Ask questions to understand customers' home comfort needs.
Educate customers about HVAC, plumbing, tune-ups, replacements, and IAQ solutions.
Generate qualified leads and schedule in-home consultations or service appointments.
Represent the ARS brand professionally and enthusiastically.
Work toward individual and team lead-generation goals.
Provide a positive customer experience from the first conversation.
