Job summary

Carter Lumber in Ohio is seeking an Inside Sales Rep to be the friendly face customers rely on when they visit. You will share product information, advise on project needs, generate estimates, and process sales transactions.

You will also follow up on online quotes, cold call to qualify leads, support Outside Sales Reps, and assist in cycle counts to keep inventory accurate. Training will be provided; salary plus commission with uncapped earnings.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales or customer service is required.
• Friendly, outgoing personality is essential.
• Effective communication skills are needed.
• Familiarity with building materials is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers as they walk in the store and share product information.
• Provide project advice, prepare estimates, and process transactions.
• Follow up on online quotes and qualify new leads.
