Job summary

Lowe’s Stores in Missouri is seeking a Sales Specialist to assist customers, understand their project needs, and turn ideas into action on the sales floor. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• At least 1 year in customer-facing sales or 6 months Lowe’s retail experience (or equivalent).
• At least 1 year in sales or customer service in a sales environment with goals/metrics.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• Ability to stand and sit for prolonged periods.
• Lift 25 lbs unassisted or more with accommodations.
• Sales-related licensure or registration may be required by state; Lowe’s supports this.

Responsibilities

• Provide smart customer service by understanding needs and explaining Lowe’s solutions.
• Serve as department contact for customers and vendors; manage estimates, installs, and orders.
• If in Pro Dept, focus on external accounts and outside sales.
• Monitor inventory and coordinate with vendors to restock.
• Perform price reviews and maintain pricing documentation.
• Support checkout functions and service requests.
• Train associates on the sales floor and coach development.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
