Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. is hiring a Sales Specialist in Missouri. You’ll be one of the first associates customers meet, guiding product selections, explaining features and financing options, and helping customers complete home improvement projects.

This is a fast-paced, in-store role across departments such as Appliances, Flooring, and more. You’ll build product expertise, deliver exceptional service, and collaborate with team members to meet sales goals and ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 1 year in customer-facing sales or 6 months Lowe’s retail experience (or 3 years external sales / 18 months Lowe’s retail if education unmet)
• 1 year of sales or customer service experience with sales goals
• Able to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic
• Able to stand and sit for prolonged periods
• Minimally lift 25 lbs unassisted or over 25 lbs with assistive help

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding needs and highlighting Lowe's advantages
• Serve as department contact for customers and vendors; prepare estimates and schedule installer visits
• In Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales/services
• Monitor inventory and coordinate with vendors to restock merchandise
• Assist with pricing reviews and maintain pricing documentation
• Support checkout functions and assist customers as needed
• Train associates on the sales floor and coach on development
• Complete other duties as assigned
