Job summary

Acosta Group in Tucson, AZ seeks an Associate to perform in-store food and non-food demonstrations, acquire product knowledge, and professionally present and sell products while maintaining demo equipment and appearance per policy.

This role is up to 25 hours per week, with duties including event setup, coordinating with store management when the Supervisor is absent, and leading the team to ensure successful demos across participating stores.

Qualifications

• Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED; 1–3 months related experience or training.
• Computer skills: Proficient use of PC and mobile devices with internal apps.
• Certifications: Food Safety Professional Certification and local food handlers permit if required.

Responsibilities

• Manage equipment and supplies for events to keep them clean and secured in the backroom area.
• Serve, demonstrate, intercept consumers, and sell products professionally.
• Be point of contact for events when Supervisor is absent and coordinate with store management.
• Lead and coach the event team, provide knowledge about products and demos.
• Prepare and serve food samples with small appliances while following safety guidelines.
• Set up Event Table and complete all assigned tasks and audits.
