Job summary

Acosta Group, via Product Connections, is seeking an Associate for in-store food and non-food demonstrations in Elgin, IL. You will acquire product knowledge, demonstrate and serve samples, and engage customers to drive sales while maintaining professional appearance and event equipment.

The role emphasizes assisting the supervisor, leading by example, and building rapport with store personnel. Candidates should meet food safety requirements and be able to work up to 25 hours per week.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience and/or training.
• Proficient ability to use a computer and personal mobile device.
• Food Safety Certification and Local Food Handler's permit if required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain event equipment and supplies.
• Coordinate with store management and be the point person for events in the store.
• Lead and support team when Supervisor is absent.
• Explain features and benefits of products to consumers and drive sales.
• Prepare and serve food samples following safety guidelines and using standard appliances.
