Job summary

Acosta Group, through Product Connections, seeks an Associate to conduct in-store food and non-food demonstrations. You will learn products, serve customers, and sell items in a professional manner while managing event equipment and maintaining a professional appearance.

The role emphasizes following food safety guidelines, assisting the Supervisor as needed, and collaborating with store staff to meet client objectives. Retail setting; limited travel; bilingual not required.

Qualifications

• Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficient ability to use a personal computer and mobile device using applications and internal systems.
• Food Safety Certification and local Food handler permits if required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain equipment and supplies used for events, ensuring cleanliness and secure backroom placement.
• Communicate with store management in Supervisor's absence about upcoming and past events.
• Be the point person for all events in the store; assist other Event Specialists with kits, materials and tools.
• Provide leadership and knowledge to the team; share product knowledge.
• Gain adequate knowledge of represented products; intercept and engage consumers to sell products.
• Prepare and serve food samples safely, including raw meats and produce, following food safety guidelines.
• Set up Event Table for execution and maintain a clean workstation.
• Complete all work assigned and prepare for client visits; submit audit corrections.
