Job summary

Acosta Group conducts in-store demos and product showcases, seeking an Associate to execute events and educate customers on features and benefits. The role emphasizes professional appearance, safety, and adherence to guidance for handling foods and equipment.

The position is part-time with a focus on delivering engaging demonstrations, maintaining equipment, and supporting store personnel to meet client objectives. Training and a collaborative environment are provided.

Qualifications

• Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED; or one to three months’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Computer Skills: Proficient ability to use and navigate on a personal computer and personal mobile device using applications and internal systems.
• Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Food Safety Professional Certification, Local Food handlers permit if required.
• Physical Demands: The employee will be regularly required to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 pounds, among other duties.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the equipment and supplies used for events to ensure they are clean and secured in the backroom area.
• When Supervisor is absent, communicate with store management about upcoming events and execution of past events in their store.
• Serve as the point person for all events conducted in the store when Supervisor is absent; assist other Event Specialists with kits, materials and tools.
• Provide leadership and knowledge to the team.
• Proactively engage and sell products to consumers a positive manner.
