Job summary

GOODWILL CENTRAL COAST in Salinas, CA is seeking a part-time Retail Store Associate. You will greet donors and customers, assist with donations, and help maintain a safe, welcoming shopping environment while promoting store sales and the mission.

Responsibilities include cash handling on the register, opening/closing procedures, stocking shelves, processing donations, and reporting safety concerns to the Store Manager.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Basic math and cash handling ability.
• Familiarity with store policies and donation procedures.
• Ability to learn cash register operation and store paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors and customers; assist with product selections.
• Handle cash transactions accurately on the register.
• Assist with opening/closing procedures.
• Stock and merchandise on the sales floor; manage donations.
• Flag safety issues and report to the Store Manager.
• May perform Donor services and daily sanitizing duties.
