Job summary

Floor & Decor is seeking aDisplay Builder in California to design, build and maintain in-store product displays. The role offers both full-time and part-time positions, with responsibilities to create 20–25 displays weekly under direction from the Department Manager.

Candidates should have at least one year of construction or building experience and be proficient with wood working, tile setting, power tools, measuring tools, and basic hand tools while adhering to safety policies.

Qualifications

• One year of construction or building experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job.
• Demonstrated ability to abide by and exhibit proactive adherence to all safety regulations and policies.
• Experience in wood working, tile setting, use of power tools, measuring tools, and basic hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Design and build store product displays per the Department Manager in each department.
• All functions, duties or tasks to be carried out in an honest, ethical and professional manner.
• Create 20 – 25 displays per week.
• Work with Inventory Control Specialist to submit write-offs and maintain inventory for materials.
• Create a calendar for each month with a plan for all displays being built.
