CheckSmart in South Bend, IN is hiring a Customer Service Representative to assist customers with in-store financial solutions and transactions. You will help build relationships, process check cashing, money transfers, and payments while delivering a high-quality in-store experience.

Responsibilities

• Connect with customers to cultivate lasting relationships driving repeat business
• Review, validate, and process customer transactions with accuracy
• Maximize customer success by offering personalized financial services that fit their lifestyle
• Enter and maintain customer information in a POS system with precision
• Build new business by completing daily call campaigns
• Assist in customer account management and collections by accepting payments and managing appointments
• Perform duties outside the office, including on-site vehicle appraisals, store errands, and events
• Maintain store appearance and cleanliness to enhance customer experience
• Maintain security protocols and opening/closing procedures, including vault and cash drawer
• Uphold compliance with company policies and relevant laws and regulations
• Engage in ongoing training and stay current on product and process changes
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment handling multiple tasks
• Conduct additional tasks as directed by leadership
• Maintain a full-time schedule with in-person attendance, including weekends; minimum 40 hours/week
