Job summary

PLS is seeking a Customer Service Representative at our Cypress, TX location. You will be the face of our store, delivering friendly service, educating customers on financial products, and ensuring transactions comply with laws and policies.

You should be able to stand for long periods, handle cash accurately, and work flexible hours including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience in hospitality, financial services, retail or restaurant.
• Ability to engage with customers.
• Ability to offer products and services to customers based on their needs.
• Excellent attention to detail and multitasking.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Honesty and integrity.
• Able to work flexible hours including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• English fluency required; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Providing outstanding customer service to ensure repeat business
• Educating our customers on our products and services
• Ensuring all transactions are completed in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
• Following company policies and procedures
• Maintaining a balanced cash drawer
• Completing all transactions accurately, including cash handling
• Using our point-of-sale system to access information and process transactions
• Resolving customer complaints or referring complaints to the Store Manager for resolution
• Helping to maintain a neat and clean store environment for our customers and team members
• Performing other duties as instructed by management
