Job summary

The Buckle, Inc. is seeking a part-time Seamstress/Tailor to fulfill alterations in-store, including hemming jeans and pants. You will perform quality alterations, measure, mark, pin, and sew using the store sewing machine, while meeting guest expectations and deadlines.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED (or 1–3 months of related experience) and be at least 18 years old. Flexibility for a varied schedule and strong customer service are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or 1–3 months related sewing/alteration experience.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality alterations on merchandise at store location.
• Follow ticket instructions and markings based on guest specifications.
• Accommodate guests with on-the-spot alterations when requested by store leaders.
• Meet deadlines and guest expectations for merchandise alterations.
• Use Buckle provided sewing machine and supplies to perform alterations.
• Record alterations and maintain alteration log.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and inform leadership when supplies are needed.
• Uphold Buckle’s Code of Ethics and store policies.
