Job summary

Fusion Healthcare Ltd in Brockton, MA is seeking a Staff Development Coordinator to plan, organize, develop and direct in-service educational programs across the facility, ensuring alignment with federal/state/local standards.

You will work with the Director of Nursing to ensure clinical competency, develop OSHA and CDC in-service trainings, and maintain documentation for compliance while fostering a warm educational environment for residents and staff.

Qualifications

• Must possess, as a minimum, a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university.
• Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as an RN or LPN in the state.
• Experience in nursing education and staff development is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, develop and direct in-service educational programs for all facility staff.
• Ensure training documentation complies with state, federal and compliance requirements.
• Monitor staff performance and address compliance issues.
• Manage employee health programs and infection control policies.
• Coordinate new employee orientation and CPR training.
• Ensure clinical competency through evaluations and annual competency assessments.
• Develop and maintain educational curriculum to meet accreditation requirements.
• Provide leadership training for nurse supervisors and charge nurses.
