Job summary

Premier Healthcare at Harrington House in Walpole, MA seeks a Staff Development Coordinator to design, implement, and evaluate educational programs for the nursing team, ensuring high-quality resident care and compliance with regulatory requirements.

You will coordinate orientation, refresher training, track attendance, maintain training records, and collaborate with Compliance and department managers to build competencies and assess program effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience as an LPN/RN.
• Must meet state licensure/certification requirements with no disciplinary action.
• Extensive knowledge of long-term care practice standards and regulations.
• Ability to teach this knowledge to others.

Responsibilities

• Participate in facility assessment to identify educational needs.
• Develop and implement training plans for regulatory requirements and facility needs.
• Plan, schedule, conduct, and oversee orientation programs for all personnel.
• Develop and schedule refresher trainings as needed.
• Track attendance and completion of training to ensure compliance.
• Review educational content to reflect current standards of practice and facility policies.
