Job summary

Brockton Post Acute Care in Brockton, MA is seeking a Staff Development Coordinator Infection Preventionist to lead education, training, and regulatory compliance across the facility.

The role requires an active MA RN license, prior leadership in staff development or infection prevention, and strong communication and organization skills to support nursing staff and resident care. This is a full-time, days position with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, active, and unencumbered RN license in Massachusetts.
• Strong ability to build positive relationships and gain staff support.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of long-term care regulations, nursing education, and staff competency requirements.
• Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead educational initiatives and competency programs for staff.
• Develop, coordinate, and provide training for new and existing employees.
• Conduct orientations and ongoing in-service education to ensure compliance.
• Maintain education records, validations, and documentation.
• Support admissions and assist nursing leadership to improve workflow and care units.
• Monitor mandatory training compliance and clinical competencies.
• Support quality improvement through education and staff development.
