Job summary

The Langham Chicago invites qualified individuals to join its In-Room Dining team as a part-time guest services associate. You will answer guest calls, take food and beverage orders to guest rooms, and ensure accurate preparation and timely delivery.

You will document orders in the POS, handle honor bar charges, support during peak periods, resolve guest issues, and maintain cleanliness of the In-Room Dining area in accordance with hotel standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma preferred; hospitality degree valued.
• First Aid training preferred and knowledge of POS systems.
• Experience in luxury hotel food & beverage is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Answer guest calls promptly and announce specials.
• Input orders into POS and ensure accuracy and timing.
• Assist with ringing up honor bar charges and postings.
• Support service staff during peak periods and maintain trays.
• Address guest complaints positively and resolve issues.
• Keep supervisor informed of problems and take corrective action.
• Perform general cleaning to meet health standards.
