Job summary

Omni Nashville Hotel is seeking an attentive In-Room Dining Associate to take guest orders, share menu knowledge, and ensure accurate, timely service. You will upsell items, coordinate with kitchen and service staff, and maintain dining room standards while handling dietary restrictions with care.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of food menu, wine list, and beverage menu.
• Ability to multi-task in a high paced environment.
• Ability to make quick decisions and exercise good judgment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be TABC certified.
• Intermediate Micros POS skills.
• Maintain a professional appearance and attitude.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Answer all in-room dining calls promptly and professionally using proper phone etiquette.
• Accurately take guest orders, including special requests and dietary restrictions.
• Enter orders into the POS system with precision and attention to detail.
• Upsell menu items, specials, and beverages to enhance guest experience.
• Coordinate with kitchen and service staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.
• Monitor order status and follow up to ensure quality and guest satisfaction.
• Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a courteous manner.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, allergens, and daily specials.
• Assist with administrative tasks including order tracking and reporting.
• Complete assigned side work: polishing silverware, glassware, amenity setup, and tray orders.

Responsibilities:

• Answer all in-room dining calls promptly and professionally using proper phone etiquette

• Upsell menu items, specials, and beverages to enhance guest experience
• Coordinate with kitchen and service staff to ensure timely and accurate order deliver
• Monitor order status and follow up to ensure quality and guest satisfaction
• Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a courteous and efficient manner
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, allergens, and daily specials
• Ensure all orders meet hotel standards and service timelinesAssist with administrative tasks as assigned to include order tracking and reporting
• Complete assigned side work to include: polishing and rolling silverware, polishing glassware, amenity set up, delivering food and amenities, and set up of trays and orders

Qualifications:

• Knowledge and understanding of food menu, wine list, and beverage menu
• Ability to multi-task in a high paced environment
• Be able to make quick decisions and possess good judgment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be TABC certified
• Intermediate level Micros skills

• Ability to work flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays
