Job summary

Mandarin Oriental New York is seeking an Assistant In-Room Dining Manager to lead the Room Service team within a 244-room luxury property on Manhattan's Central Park. You will drive service quality and guest satisfaction through staff leadership and process excellence.

In this role you will oversee scheduling, training, events, menu accuracy, and collaboration with other departments to ensure flawless IRD operations and memorable guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in F&B management or supervisory role at a luxury hotel.
• Ability to lead and schedule Room Service staff and manage administrative duties.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills; guest-focused service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train Room Service staff, schedule and payroll tasks as needed.
• Ensure guest satisfaction and uphold department standards and SOPs.
• Coordinate events and IRD orders, oversee setup and breakdown.
• Maintain safety, quality, and compliance with hotel policies and regulations.
• Communicate group information accurately to hotel colleagues in a timely manner.
