Job summary

Fairmont Copley Plaza is seeking a Temporary Part-Time In-Room Dining Coordinator. You will be the first contact for in-room dining guests, handling inquiries, taking and coordinating orders, and ensuring a welcoming experience with accurate allergen handling.

Role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and flexibility to work shifts including weekends/holidays in a hotel operations environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hotel operations, food and beverage, guest services, or a similar coordinator role is preferred.
• Excellent verbal communication, telephone etiquette, and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of food allergens and dietary restrictions, with the ability to communicate guest requests accurately and follow established food safety procedures.
• Computer proficiency and familiarity with point-of-sale systems preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests and colleagues across multiple departments.
• Highly responsible, reliable, and adaptable to changing operational requirements.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, holidays, and other schedules as required by hotel operations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact in the in-room dining guest experience and assist with inquiries.
• Take and coordinate orders, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
• Develop a strong understanding of the In-Room Dining menu and allergens.
• Communicate with culinary and service teams to meet guest needs.
