Job summary

Delta Hotels by Marriott is seeking an In-Room Dining (IRD) Server to provide professional, discreet, and elevated hospitality directly in guest rooms. You will enter orders, coordinate with the kitchen, and ensure accurate, timely delivery of meals and beverages.

Experience with Toast POS and cashless transactions is required; weekend and holiday availability is expected. The role emphasizes guest privacy, high service standards, and teamwork with F&B leadership.

Qualifications

• Previous Toast POS experience required.
• Previous hotel, restaurant, hospitality, or food service experience required.
• In-Room Dining experience preferred.
• Cashless operation experience preferred.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Professional and polished demeanor.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability to accurately operate Toast POS.
• Ability to process electronic guest transactions accurately.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional and courteous In-Room Dining service to hotel guests.
• Accurately receive and confirm guest food and beverage orders.
• Enter orders accurately into Toast POS.
• Deliver food and beverages to guest rooms promptly and professionally.
• Coordinate with the culinary team to ensure orders are prepared promptly.
• Verify every order for accuracy and completeness before leaving the kitchen.
• Handle guest requests and questions professionally.
• Retrieve trays, carts, and service equipment according to procedures.
• Maintain clean and organized IRD service area.
• Process guest payments through the cashless payment system.
