Job summary

Four Seasons is seeking an In Room Dining Assistant Manager at Westlake Village to lead the Room Service team, train staff, and ensure exceptional guest experiences. You will foster a positive work environment, mentor colleagues, and uphold luxury hospitality standards.

The role emphasizes service excellence, staff development, and close coordination with departments, with a focus on wine knowledge, quality control, and cost management. A college degree and US work authorization are required.

Qualifications

• College degree preferably specializing in hotel/restaurant management or equivalent experience is required.
• One to two years previous experience in a line, supervisory or assistant manager position in Food & Beverage.
• Previous experience in Room Service is preferred.
• Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language.
• The ability to operate a computer and other food and beverage computer systems.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Select, train, evaluate, lead, motivate, coach, and discipline all employees in the Hotel's Room Service Department to ensure that established cultural and core standards are met.
• The ability to be visible in the operation, provide recognition, promote good public relations, and handle complaints, concerns or special requests for guests, clients, and group contacts.
• Describe and ensure quality of all food items, ingredients, and preparation methods, as well as provide knowledge of wine and spirits in an elegantly appointed environment dedicated to an attentive and distinctive experience for 24-hour a day in-room dining and in-room private bar services.
• Control labor and operating expenses through effective scheduling, purchasing decisions, and inventory and control.
• Attend regular operational meetings to ensure effective coordination and cooperation between departments.
• Observe physical condition of facilities and equipment in the outlet and make recommendations for corrections and improvements as needed.

About the role:
