Job summary

Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts in Westlake Village, CA seeks a Server Assistant to support the Onyx team and help deliver luxury dining experiences. You will clear and reset tables, assist servers, and maintain impeccable guest service standards in a refined environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least a year in a luxury Food & Beverage setting, with strong English communication and teamwork skills. Part-time schedule, 3–4 days.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent is required.
• One year of luxury Food & Beverage experience preferred.
• Strong English reading, writing and oral skills are required.
• Excellent communication with guests and coworkers is essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests by retrieving food from the kitchen and delivering it accurately and promptly.
• Break down, clean and set up tables, buffets, and food stations.
• Clear and set up tables, chairs, linens, china, glass and silver unobtrusively.
• Stock linens, china, silver and glassware and assist in prep of small items like toast or beverages.
• Greet guests professionally, serve beverages and food, and anticipate guest needs.
• Prepare condiment and garnish items.

About the role:

Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village is seeking a Server Assistant to join our dedicated and dynamic Onyx team! This position assists the Server in providing an enjoyable dining experience to our guests while conforming to the restaurant’s standards of excellence for quality, professionalism and friendliness. The position clears tables and resets them neatly, rapidly and completely according to specification while attending to guest needs and requests.

What you will do:

• Assistance with guest service including retrieving food from the kitchen and safely transporting and delivering it to guest ensuring accuracy and timeliness, as well as removal of items from the guest’s table.

• Breakdown, clean and set-up of tables, buffets, and food stations.

• Assist in clearing, cleaning and set-up of tables, chairs, linens, china, glass and silver for service in an unobtrusive manner.

• Stock linen, china, silver and glassware for service ensuring that all are polished and in good condition; assist in preparation of smaller items such as toast, soup, or beverages.

• Greet guests in a professional manner, serve beverage and food items while explaining the contents, and anticipate and service the guest’s needs before requests are necessary.

• Preparation of condiment and garnish items.

What you bring:

• High school education or equivalent experience.

• One year previous experience in a luxury Food and Beverage outlet.

• Requires reading, writing and oral proficiency inthe English language.

• The ability to have strong communication skills between co-workers and guests.
