Advocate Health in North Carolina is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse for the 02380 WFBMG University Group Practice: High Point Gatewood - Urology. This in-person position requires 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm.

The role requires an RN license in the state, BCLS, with BSN preferred; two years of acute care experience; familiarity with telephone triage and managed care concepts is a plus. You will provide patient/family centered care and coordinate care with the team.

Qualifikationen

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing with two years of acute care experience required. BSN preferred.
• Prefer acute care experience within the last 10 years.
• Telephone Triage and Health Insurance/Managed Care experience preferred.

• Provides patient/family centered care, acting as partner and adviser assists and supports patients and families to manage optimally their health care, respecting their culture and values, individual needs, health goals and treatment preferences.
• Applies critical reasoning and astute clinical judgment to expedite appropriate care, including telecommunication assessments.
• Ensures proper scheduling and follow up on test results for providers with approved protocols.
• Applies ANA Code of Ethics in daily professional obligations and care.
• Participates in ongoing professional development and shared governance, upholding standards of care.
• Maintains patient safety and quality of nursing care through appropriate interventions and education.
• Coordinates care with teams and navigates the health care system for patients.
