Job summary

Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist in High Point, NC is seeking a Registered Nurse for ambulatory/Urology care. You will provide patient-centered nursing, use telecommunication tools for triage and education, and coordinate tests and follow-ups with the care team.

The role requires an active RN license, BCLS certification, and BSN preferred, with potential ACLS/PALS requirements in select areas. This is a full-time, 40-hour week, Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing with two years of acute care experience required.
• BSN preferred.
• Preferred experience in Telephone Triage and Health Insurance/Managed Care concepts.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient/family centered care and supports patients to manage their health care with cultural sensitivity.
• Uses telecommunication tools to assess, communicate test results and medications to patients.
• Ensures scheduling and follow-up on test results with providers, following approved protocols.
