Job summary

McDonald Automotive in Littleton, CO is seeking an IT Helpdesk specialist for hands-on, on-site support across offices, showrooms, and service drives. You will balance ticket queue work with in-person troubleshooting and user assistance, ensuring smooth operations for staff.

Ideal candidates have prior IT support experience and a proactive, customer-focused attitude. You’ll work in a small in-house team serving multiple locations and may travel between stores as needed.

Qualifications

• Prior hands-on IT support experience preferred; willingness to learn quickly.
• Strong customer-service mindset and clear communication.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365, AD, VPN, and ticket systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level IT support in person, by phone, email, and remote tools.
• Triage tickets, document fixes, and escalate when needed.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, printers, and network issues.
• Manage accounts in Microsoft 365 and Active Directory (password resets, moves, adds, changes).
• Set up and deploy PCs and iPads; imaging and hardware prep for new hires.
• Monitor IT alerts and travel to nearby stores for hands-on support.
