Job summary

Comparion Insurance Agency, a Liberty Mutual company, is seeking an Insurance Sales Associate for our Exton, PA office. This in-person role supports a Sales Agent through new business sales and customer retention, with emphasis on listening and local networking within the community.

You will use consultative sales techniques, process new business, and pursue cross-selling opportunities while meeting monthly sales goals. Licensing training is provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; 1–2 years of sales experience preferred.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle objections in a consultative manner.
• Self-starter with professional business acumen and confidence.

Responsibilities

• Use consultative sales techniques to prospect and initiate new business.
• Assist processing of new business, including contacting customers to finalize sales.
• Identify cross-selling opportunities for the Sales Agent.
• Contribute to and execute a marketing plan with the Sales Agent.
• Identify mass marketing prospects through existing book of business.
• Meet monthly goals for new business sales.
• Follow up on new policies to maintain retention and cross-sell opportunities.
• Coordinate activities with other departments to ensure quality customer service.
• Serve as the initial contact for customer concerns regarding policy setup and new accounts.
