Job summary

City and County of Denver is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead the Lobby service team within the FAAD, ensuring smooth customer flow across multiple locations. This in-person role requires travel to neighborhood resource sites and a strong focus on delivering positive public service.

You will oversee work plans, assign tasks, provide guidance, and monitor performance while maintaining compliance with policy and reporting needs.

Qualifications

• Graduation from high school or GED required.
• Five years of experience in technical, paraprofessional, or administrative work.
• Equivalency may substitute education for experience.

Responsibilities

• Review, develop, or modify work plans and schedules for staff coverage.
• Provide instruction and assist staff with assignments; encourage innovation.
• Assign and review work for accuracy and completeness; offer guidance.
• Explain procedures and policies to staff and customers.
• Understand public assistance eligibility rules and processing timelines.
• Prepare reports and gather data for annual reviews.
• This is an in-person, five-days-a-week role with travel to neighborhood sites.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
