Job summary

Essent Group Ltd. in Pennsylvania seeks a Title System Administrator to maintain reliability, security, and performance of the property-title production platform.

You will manage user access, resolve document generation issues, and support escrow and title staff for compliant operations. Responsibilities include configuring the EssentCORE system, administering access controls, and supporting production staff with templates, integration, and disaster recovery testing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in system administration, preferably in real estate/title environment.
• Hands-on administrative experience with AtClose (or equivalent title production systems).
• Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server (queries, stored procedures, performance) and Windows Server/AD administration.
• Familiarity with ALTA Best Practices and data privacy controls (SSO, MFA, RBAC).
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotation and perform maintenance during evenings/weekends.
• Ability to translate technical issues for non-technical staff.
• Strong multitasking, detail-orientation and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication (Visio/PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Design business process solutions to improve workflows and efficiency.
• Configure and maintain the Title Production System (EssentCORE) including access and permissions.
• Administer user accounts, permissions, and security roles per privacy and ALTA standards.
• Provide primary support to production staff for issues, document templates, and integrations.
• Support disaster recovery and secure deployment of updates.
• Monitor application health, reduce downtime, and optimize performance.
• Create and maintain user guides, reports, and training materials.
• Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and management.
• Support software implementations and upgrades; coordinate vendor testing.
