Job summary

Intuit, Inc. seeks TurboTax Local Service Experts to work on-site at a TurboTax location, delivering hands-on tax preparation and advisory services to individuals and small businesses while building a local client base.

You'll collaborate with a team across tax, bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning to provide end-to-end support, expand community partnerships, and deliver a premier customer experience in the local market.

Qualifications

• EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Have an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) as required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software.Familiarity with Circular 230
• Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas (e.g., bookkeeping, payroll, business tax advisory) with training provided by Intuit
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, primarily between the hours of 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM local time, Monday through Friday, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Must be willing and able to complete all required training and development as determined by the business including, but not limited to, compliance training, proficiency‑based up‑skilling, cross‑training of other products or offerings, and professional development.
• Must be willing to wear Intuit provided uniforms. Must be willing to use your name, picture for advertising on goggle.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert, creating accessible tax‑related content and resources for your community in accordance with Intuit’s policies
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing

Responsibilities

• Provide Tax Expertise: Give hands‑on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations and providing future tax planning advice.
• Be a Proactive Community Ambassador: actively build and grow a new local customer base through outreach, events, and partnerships.
• Champion the Full Intuit Ecosystem: connect clients with bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning, or Credit Karma as needed.
• Build Relationships: develop long-term trust and convert one-time transactions into ongoing relationships.
• Deliver a Best in Class Customer Experience: ensure professional, helpful service and clear guidance for tax goals.
