Job summary

Texas Materials, a CRH Company, is seeking a Customer Service Representative to work in a fast-paced office environment under the Dispatch Manager. You will handle customer calls, enter orders, coordinate delivery times, and document issues to support sales and dispatch.

Applicants should have a GED or high school diploma and 3–5 years of related customer service experience, with strong computer skills in Outlook, Word, and Excel. This is an in-office role based in Austin, TX.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 3–5 years related customer service experience or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills for order entry.
• Proficiency in Outlook, Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with customers by phone and text messaging software, enter data into the computer system.
• Solicit future orders from customers and enter orders into the computer system.
• Negotiate with customers’ delivery times to prevent lost orders.
• Document customer complaints and forward to Dispatch Manager and/or Sales Representative.
