Job summary

CMTA, a Legence company, in Dublin, OH, is seeking a Project Billing Analyst in the Billing department. You will collaborate with Project Managers to produce monthly billings and manage billing packages.

The role requires setting up projects in Deltek Vantagepoint, preparing invoices, pay applications, schedules of values, and portal entries with careful attention to detail. Strong Excel skills and Deltek experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred or equivalent billing experience.
• Proficiency with MS Excel is essential.
• Deltek experience is a plus.
• A/E and/or Construction industry experience desirable.
• Strong organizational skills, problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and deadlines.
• Good communication skills – verbal and written with PMs, customers, and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Set up projects in Deltek Vantagepoint.
• Produce billing packages including invoices, pay apps, schedules of values, affidavits, and portal entries.
• Generate monthly billing packages for PM review.
• Post and issue invoices accurately and timely.
• Assist staff accountant, PMs, and executives with tracking project finances and metrics.
• Research and resolve billing issues and support collections.
• Ensure billing follows contract terms and compliance.
• Create T&M billings from actual/forecasted costs for Projects.
• Assist in developing new billing systems and processes for efficiency.
• Adhere to internal controls and auditing standards.
