Job summary

Collins Engineers, Inc. in Chicago seeks a Project Accounting Administrator to support the project accounting team.

You will open new projects in Deltek Vantagepoint, process sub-consultant invoices, and compile backup for monthly client billings, ensuring accurate data entry and smooth financial workflows. Reporting to the Project Accounting Manager, you will coordinate with AP specialists and project accountants, maintain project data and WBS, reconcile balances, and assist with year-end

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in administrative accounting or clerical support.
• Experience in an AEC firm is highly preferred.
• High school diploma required; an Associate’s degree is a plus.
• Proficiency with Deltek Vantagepoint or Deltek Vision is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Open and maintain new projects in Deltek Vantagepoint.
• Receive, code, and enter sub-consultant invoices with accuracy.
• Reconcile sub-consultant ledger balances against project budgets.
• Format draft invoices and assist with client billings.
• Support year-end activities and audits as needed.
