Job summary

Amentum, Nuclear Projects – Denver, seeks a Supervising Systems Engineer I to lead the systems engineering scope for nuclear and other high-hazard projects. You will guide requirements management, integration, and verification across multi-disciplinary teams to ensure successful delivery for the DOE and other nuclear clients.

Ideal candidates have a technical bachelor's degree and 5–7 years of engineering experience, with leadership ability and willingness to travel up to 20%.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship required.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (STEM).
• 5–7 years of engineering experience with leadership experience.
• Ability to pass and maintain a security clearance.
• Travel up to 20% and ability to work across multiple levels.
• Experience with DOE/nuclear facilities and safety standards.
• Strong relationship management, facilitation and consulting skills.
• Experience in requirements management and design verification.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead systems engineering activities for nuclear facilities.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to develop requirements.
• Define, manage, and verify requirements to satisfy project goals.
• Drive configuration management of system deliverables.
• Interface with clients and vendors to ensure expectations are met.
• Support change management and impacts on requirements.
