Job summary

TechServ Engineering seeks an entry-level Engineering Technician/Designer for the Electrical Distribution team. You will undergo 2–3 weeks of hands-on training, become proficient with the client’s CAD software, and support project phases from planning to documentation under supervision.

The role offers growth opportunities, travel about 20% of the time, and a pathway to engineering technician levels with continued development.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree preferred but not required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Use CAD software to design for newbuilds, alterations, and redevelopments.
• Work with engineers to implement design changes into the system.
• Assist with project setup and data entry in PM systems.
• Analyze reports and drawings to support design decisions.
• Travel to regional job sites approximately 20% of the time.
