Job summary

TechServ is seeking an entry-level Engineering Technician/Designer for the Electrical Distribution team. You will begin with 2–3 weeks of hands-on training, gain industry certification(s), and become proficient with the client's CAD software.

After training, you will design for newbuilds, alterations, and redevelopments under supervision, with travel about 20%. The role offers growth toward higher levels within TechServ, a team-focused environment, and in-office collaboration in a dynamic

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required or equivalent.
• Associate's Degree in Drafting/Design Technology preferred but not required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel focus) recommended.

Responsibilities

• Use CAD software for client projects including newbuilds and redevelopments.
• Assist Engineers to implement design changes.
• Analyze reports, drawings and tests to plan projects.
• Review drawings for quality, scope, budget and schedule.
• Travel to regional job sites ~20% of the time.
