Qualifikationen

• Pharmacy Technician Certification required.
• PTCB certification preferred.
• Knowledge of computer/telephone support in a healthcare environment preferred.
• Strong customer service background in healthcare preferred.
• Excellent verbal communication skills preferred.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks.

Aufgaben

• Accurately tracks all prescriptions written by physicians.
• Monitors prescriptions and ensures compliant e-prescribing practices.
• Greets patients and confirms patient information; offers alternatives when possible.
• Ensures accurate patient information is submitted for claims.
• Works with insurance for prior authorizations and follows up on requests.
• Other duties as assigned.
