Job summary

United Urology Group is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support the In-Office Dispensary (IOD), stocking, assembling, and distributing medications under supervision. You will handle patient data, insurance, and inventory, ensuring accuracy and compliance with HIPAA.

You will process prescriptions electronically, manage recalls, and collaborate with staff to provide high-quality cancer care. Travel to other sites within the region may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED required.
• Pharmacy technician training approved by State Board or ASHP-accredited.
• Arizona-specific: PTCE certification or national certification via PTCB.

Responsibilities

• Stock, assemble, and distribute medications for the in-office dispensary.
• Process prescriptions electronically with accurate patient data.
• Collect patient insurance and demographic information, including allergies.
• Maintain proper storage and security conditions for drugs.
• Handle insurance claims and track recalls per regulations.
• Order and count stock, enter inventory data, and log payments.
