The position requires a Pharmacy Technician Certification, a high school diploma, and 0–2 years of related experience. Expect a Monday–Friday, 8-hour shift, with pay ranging from $21.20 to $27.18 per hour, benefits, and career

Qualifikationen

• HS diploma or equivalent required; pharmacy tech certification required.
• 0–2 years related work experience or training preferred.
• Knowledge of computer/telephony support in a health care environment preferred.
• Strong customer service background preferred.

Aufgaben

• Tracks prescriptions written by physicians with an accurate daily log.
• Supervises and monitors prescriptions for compliance with Medicare guidelines.
• Greets patients at the IOD window and explains the CCA prescription system.
• Verifies patient prescription coverage using Centricity and Pioneer to bill correctly.
• Inputs prescriptions for physician dispensing using Pioneer.
• Obtains prior authorizations for rejected medication claims and follows up as needed.
• Completes other assignments as assigned by management.
