Evolve Therapy Services is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant to join an in-house Skilled Nursing Facility in Pahokee, FL. The role supports the Physical Therapist, conducts screenings, and assists in treatment planning and delivery to residents.

Flexible schedule options include full-time, part-time, or PRN roles. Applicants must have an Associate's degree in physical therapy, hold an active PTA license, and commit to ongoing continuing education.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in physical therapy (A.S.) from an accredited program.
• Must hold an active Physical Therapy Assistant license in state(s) of practice.
• Commitment to ongoing continuing education to maintain licensure and certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services to residents under the direct supervision of the Physical Therapist.
• Conduct screenings of residents to determine need for intervention or treatment.
• Assist in identifying goals and treatment plans with the Physical Therapist.
• Perform individual and group treatment per the treatment plan (strength, mobility, balance, gait, ROM).
• Monitor resident responses and coordinate with the Physical Therapist for modifications.
