Job summary

Insight Global in Pasadena, CA is seeking a Payroll Specialist to manage weekly payroll, enter time data, review for accuracy, and generate paychecks and direct deposit files. You will maintain payroll records in JDE and HCM systems and respond to employee inquiries.

You will prepare fringe benefit reports, process deductions, handle year-end tasks (W-2), ensure compliance with wage and hour laws, and collaborate with HR and Accounting to resolve payroll discrepancies.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience managing an in-house payroll system (Oracle or JDE preferred).
• 2+ years of Data Entry experience into an accounting/payroll system.
• Proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel required.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly payroll, including entering time data, reviewing for accuracy, and generating paychecks and direct deposit files.
• Prepare union fringe benefit reports, including compiling data, submitting reports, and processing related payments.
• Maintain payroll and fringe benefit records within JDE and HCM systems.
• Respond promptly to employee inquiries related to payroll, benefits, and general questions.
