Qualifications

• Law degree required.
• Admitted to practice law in the US.
• 1–3 years of professional experience in mortgage servicing law.
• Experience with Regulation X (RESPA) and Regulation Z (TILA).
• Strong legal research and documentation skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely and high-quality legal counsel and guidance focused on mortgage servicing documentation and regulatory compliance.
• Research and interpret federal and state mortgage servicing laws and investor requirements.
• Review, develop, and maintain mortgage servicing documents and forms for regulatory compliance.
• Monitor legislative and regulatory changes and assess impact on processes and systems.
• Collaborate with operations, product, technology, and compliance teams on servicing documentation questions and changes.
• Engage with clients' legal and compliance contacts to resolve related questions.
