Job summary

Navitus Health Solutions is seeking a Staff Attorney to join our team in Phoenix, AZ. The role supports the Chief Legal Officer and Associate General Counsel by drafting documents, performing research, and maintaining corporate records under limited supervision.

The Staff Attorney will draft and negotiate contracts, prepare memos, and provide guidance on legal issues to Navitus staff, ensuring compliance with policies and practices across departments.

Qualifications

• Law degree from ABA-accredited program preferred.
• License to practice law required.
• Experience in a law firm or in-house legal department preferred.

Responsibilities

• Researches and analyzes statutes, judicial decisions, legal articles, contracts, and legal codes.
• Drafts, reviews, and negotiates contracts on behalf of the organization.
• Prepares memorandums and correspondence.
• Provides legal counsel on business objectives and applicable policies.
• Files legal documents in digital and physical filing systems.
• Develops processes for indexing and filing legal documents and managing contracts.
• Supports other departments on contracts, operations, and regulatory affairs.
