Job summary

Northeast Family Services is seeking an In-Home Therapist in Massachusetts to provide structured, strength-based interventions in clients’ homes to support youth with behavioral needs.

The role offers supervision for licensure and opportunities for professional growth, with a supportive team and clear pathways for advancement. Full-time positions come with comprehensive benefits and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

Master's degree in counseling, psychology, social work, special education or CBHI approved program.
Minimum 1 year of experience with children, youth and families in home or community settings desirable.
Experience with behavioral-emotional disorders and autism spectrum is a plus.
Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle access required.
Authorized to work in the U.S.; no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

Provide structured, strength-based therapy in a client’s home to address youth behavioral needs.
Collaborate with families to implement treatment plans and progress monitoring.
Utilize evidence-based practices and maintain documentation.

The In-Home Therapist (IHT) will provide structured, consistent, strength-based therapeutic interventions in a client’s home for the purpose of treating a youth’s behavioral needs.

Qualifications

Master's degree in counseling, psychology, social work, special education or related CBHI approved degree program
Minimum 1 year of experience working with children, youth and families in a home or community setting highly desirable
Experience working with children diagnosed with behavioral-emotional disorders preferred
Experience with working with children on the autism spectrum desirable
Valid driver’s license with reliable and consistent access to a vehicle
