Job summary

Best Buy is seeking a Field Services Repair Area Manager to lead in-home repair operations across Eastern Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, Southern New Jersey, Delaware, and parts of Maryland. You will direct Best Buy and Geek Squad staff and coordinate with third‑party service partners to deliver quality home repairs.

You will build a strong culture, coach on-site or remotely, and ensure SOP adherence while optimizing workload and customer outcomes.

Qualifications

2+ years as a supervisor or manager.
2+ years of experience in sales, installation, logistics, operations, warehouse or customer service.
Willingness to travel overnight ~25% of the year.
Current, valid driver’s license.
Must be at least 21 years old.
Maintain a driving record that meets safety standards.
Acquire and maintain any required licensing within 90 days of hire.
Consumer electronics delivery/repair experience is a plus.
Experience in delivery, transportation, distribution or logistics.
Experience with warehouse management systems.
Experience managing a remote workforce.
Associate degree or higher in business, logistics or related fields.

Responsibilities

Ensure operational consistency of Best Buy’s repair network by leading internal staff and influencing external providers.
Set expectations, coach on-site or remotely, and conduct regular 1-on-1s.
Foster an exceptional team culture centered on engagement and belonging.
Ensure SOP compliance and provide feedback to operations teams.
Manage workload and capacity, including scheduling, PTO approvals and route management.
Respond to escalations and resolve issues to preserve customer experience.
