Job summary

Best Buy in Daytona Beach is seeking an In-Home Installation Technician to deliver, install, integrate, and troubleshoot tech products like home theater, computing, and networking systems in customers’ homes. You will identify solutions based on conversations and collaborate with Geek Squad Agents and partners to meet Best Buy’s annual initiatives.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must have current, valid driver’s license and maintain a driving record meeting Best Buy safety standards.
• Ability to acquire and maintain any state or local licensing within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to lift weight up to 75 pounds with or without accommodation and up to 150 pounds as part of a team with or without accommodation.
• Ability to lift weight up to 250 pounds as part of a team with support tools such as harnesses or lifts.
• 6 months of consumer electronics delivery, installation, integration and troubleshooting experience.
• 6 months of customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide a seamless customer experience by advising and fulfilling on lifestyle product and service recommendations.
• Fulfill delivery, installation, integration, networking and troubleshooting of consumer electronics devices.
• Lead two-person jobs and perform other tasks independently.
• Manage inventory and vehicle maintenance, paperwork, payments, and provide feedback and training opportunities, following safety guidelines.
