Chimes is seeking a Direct Support Professional to work Tuesday through Friday, 10am–3pm, on-site in Baltimore, MD. You will provide personal support in a residence, helping individuals with developmental challenges live as independently as possible.

This part-time role offers $19.75 per hour, with a focus on safety, daily living skills, and community participation. Training and supervision are provided. Join a mission-driven nonprofit serving people with intellectual and behavioral challenges.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must have a driver’s license and driving record acceptable by the agency.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull weights as required by the role.

Responsabilités

• Work in the residence of a person served as a personal support, engaged in activities in home and community.
• Provide supervision and training to adults with developmental disabilities to promote growth.
• Ensure the house is personalized to each person’s preferences.
• Assist individuals with daily living skills and maintain safety and cleanliness.
• Transport persons served to appointments and community activities.
