Home-Health-Services-of-Virginia in Hampton, VA, seeks Direct Support Professionals to provide in-home residential services to individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities. You will support daily living tasks, budgeting, health and safety, and community access, in a one-on-one home setting.

Responsibilities include documentation, progress reporting, ISP follow-through, and ongoing training participation. Full-time and part-time positions with benefits available.

Competenze

• High school diploma at minimum or equivalent course work.
• One year experience caring for individuals with developmental or physical disabilities.
• A valid driver's license.
• Current and valid auto insurance.
• Reliable computer for documentation completion.
• Current negative two part PPD test.
• CPR/First Aid.
• Medicaid Waiver Competency.
• Eligible Criminal Background Check.
• Eligible Central Registry Check.

Mansioni

• Provide in-home residential service to individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
• Support individuals with budgeting and money management.
• Guide individuals with completing necessary hygienic and household tasks.
• Engage individuals in social activities.
• Support individuals with community access.
• Ensure individual health and safety is maintained.
• Complete daily progress notes describing daily progress.
• Complete quarterly progress reports.
• Follow ISPs outcomes and goals.
• Attend in-service training sessions and workshops.
• Attend biweekly supervision sessions documenting progress.
• Maintain client confidentiality.
• Facilitate conflict resolution as needed.
• Attend physician appointments and assessments.
