Job summary

Home-Health-Services-of-Virginia is hiring Direct Support Professionals to provide in-home support for individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities. You will work one-on-one in clients’ homes to help achieve ISP goals in the least restrictive setting.

You will assist with budgeting, hygiene, daily living tasks, social activities, and community access, while ensuring health and safety. Frequent documentation and collaboration with supervisors are required.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate organized, reliable support for individuals with developmental or physical disabilities.
• Able to adapt plans to meet each person’s ISP and goals.
• Strong communication with families, physicians, and team members.
• Experience with documentation and reporting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with budgeting and money management.
• Guide individuals with hygiene and household tasks.
• Engage individuals in social and community activities.
• Support ADL/IADL completion and health/safety.
• Document daily progress notes and quarterly reports.
