Job summary

Hireology seeks Direct Support Professionals to provide in-home residential services for individuals with developmental or physical disabilities in Virginia. You will work one-on-one to help clients achieve goals in the least restrictive setting, supporting daily tasks, community access and safe home environments.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates empathy, patience and respect when supporting individuals with disabilities.
• Ability to organize tasks, manage time and problem-solve in home settings.
• Flexible to the needs of individuals and families in daily routines.
• Proficient in documenting progress and daily notes for ISPs and progress reports.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with budgeting and money management.
• Assist with hygienic and household tasks and ADL/IADL completion.
• Engage individuals in social activities and community access.
• Maintain health and safety in all settings and document progress daily.
• Attend supervision sessions and complete required trainings.
